I can still not like you or your institution and we can stand near each other while insulting whomever and each other. Would be kinda fun tbh.

Our old arse donors care more about being able to eat lunch with the AD and having his cell number than winning. If we hired someone from far away they might not get to eat lunch with him as much as we can’t have that.

I agree with you in principle but while saying Hugh Freeze came from "outside the university" maybe be technically correct, the reality is that he was about as Ole Miss as it gets. He grew up 45 minutes from campus, both of his parents were Ole Miss folks, his brother went to Ole Miss, and he spend two years at NWCC, which is really Ole Miss light.
