I would suggest heated seats for early season games.

It looks like they are just adding on to the existing stadium. Tear that pos down.

The umbrella and pool side tables are a remarkable touch.

Off-topic, to an extent, but was the LSU dental school formerly a prison?

Yeah. Some assjack architecht that LSU kept hiring in the 70's just really frickin loved that soviet-style brutalist architecture vibe.

It was a joy when CEBA went down. I even heard a rumor that Kirby Smith was finally coming down. The STD collective in that high rise choked out the asbestos.

Are they changing over to a real grass and dirt field or staying with that terrible turf crap?

Sharp design. That looks really good and is a massive improvement over the current dump

Yeah, same with most colleges. That era of architecture was so bad. Fortunately, most major universities are at least addressing getting rid of most of the buildings from that era and going to a more classical style

Kirby Smith is in the process of coming down or might even be down already. What a shite show that dorm was. I got a foot job in there once

Anything is a massive improvement - our stadium is terrible.

Looks like Top Golf should step in on a joint venture to use the premium seating as heated hitting bays during the winter

That LSU building is what is commonly referred to as the 'brutalist' style of architecture. Rarely has something been so appropriately named. It is brutal to the senses.

This is downtown Knoxville baw, not Starkville or college station. We don’t have unlimited real estate to just build new shite and demolish the old when done.

We’ve got a couple of those. That tower right by the humanities/library. Library itself is really bad but that’s a different kind of bad.

We had an architect like that. We have a tower on campus that is straight up 1982 era Yugoslavia. Luckily a lot of stuff is being torn down and updated.
