They're going to tell the SEC "hey you decided to leave on your own and someone else came in to fill it permanently, sorry"
Then call their bluff and let them host a fading Clemson vs Wake Forest a few times. They’d be begging to have two big-time SEC programs back in town.
I don’t understand why the ACC wouldn’t want to rotate between South Florida & Atlanta every year. More of a change in scenery, better destinations & in better recruiting hotbeds than Charlotte.

Atlanta is still a hub airport and set up hotel and infrastructure wise a hell of a lot better than Tennessee will ever be. so you can move on to your next stupid statement.
Nashville is 10 times better than Atlanta. The airport is extremely close to the city and the whole city isn’t in the ghetto. Atlanta is awful

No, they don’t. It’ll likely move around in the new SEC.
Don't think so.

ATL negotiating strategy according to Dawg fans:

Atlanta, NOLA, Jerry World, Houston, Nashville works for me.

Sheesh, why are Georgia fans so insecure about this? You’ll still be fine. Kirby’s built a program that can travel. Guarantee he’d love to put on a prime-time show in front of Dallas high school coaches. Plus, it would be more entertaining for the fanbases too. Folks can only try 30 different flavors of Coca-Cola and see the whale sharks so many times before it gets stale.

what waterheads like you don't seem to grasp is that the instant the SECCG were to leave Atlanta, the ACC would swoop in in milliseconds and claim it forever. That aint happening. The SECCG isn't going anywhere, although not sure why UT fans should concern themselves with its location anyway
The ACC can't just "claim it forever." In fact, I'd wager that Atlanta would rather have the SECCG every other year than the ACC Championship every year.

South Florida in December is quite nice. Plus most every major Southern city has direct flights to both Tampa and Miami. Makes total sense.

Game is going to Dallas in 2030 anyhow no worries about Atlanta .

RIP Atlanta SEC title game
I know this is a sensitive topic for you guys. Good news! After Texas joins the SEC, our AD will tell Sankey where to play the conference title game. Problem solved!

Too much of a cash cow, can't see $ankey giving that up.

Insecurity has nothing to do with it. As for myself, I live in Southern California, not Atlanta.
Atlanta has many advantages over Nashville that are too numerous to list. The only city that would have an outside shot, I must admit, would be Dallas, Texas, and that would only be on a every-other-year basis.
If any kind of rotation would be considered, it would only be between Atlanta and one other city in the western side of the SEC, namely Dallas. Houston would be OUT for sure along with New Orleans. One year Atlanta, the next Dallas, then Atlanta, and so on.
Otherwise, Atlanta has this game....Atlanta's a beautiful city with lots of attractions and things to do...it's tranportation options are the best hands down of ANY city including Dallas, Houston, and Nashville.

Good point. It's all about the money these days.

No shite there’s bad parts of Atlanta nobody is denying that, but that’s with any big city. There’s plenty of great parts too, like I said most posters here likely have never been and just regurgitate the same dumb shite they’ve heard from others

They've got to get it out of Atlanta. UGA football has had an unfair advantage for too long.
It is home game everytime they make it.
