Wrong. I live in the Nashville area and work out of Atlanta. Know both cities quite well, having worked in every major metro in the southeast US for 30+ years. The two cities are as dissimilar as two regional proximity large metro areas can be.

As with any major city, there are areas you know aren't safe. Those are fairly limited in Nashville, but more pervasive in Atlanta.

Nashville has changed quite a bit over the past 5-10 years and not really for the better. It's gaining some of the same growth issues Atlanta faced 30+ years ago. For now, it's (IMO) still a better place.

So... guy with Atlanta in your name... why do you think ATL is better?

Wrong.

No, I'm not wrong. It's a fact that Nashville has a higher violent crime rate than Atlanta. Sorry that upsets you so.

Doesn't upset me at all. Stay out of our dangerous city. By all means.

Atlanta, so nice that even the Atlanta Braves decided it would be smart to move out of it.

The new Nashville stadium is within easy walking distance of the Shelby Street projects.

I’m going to go out in a limb and guess those won’t be there anymore and will be redeveloped

Moron- if the SEC moves somewhere else, the ACC will then play their title game there.

The ACC would never play in Atlanta permanently. It would be stupid, especially since there will likely be a new DC area stadium in the future.

Should rotate between Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, and New Orleans.

A better rotation would be Memphis, Macon, Montgomery and Jackson.

wouldn’t be surprised if the SECCG is dropped when the playoff expands. I don’t think you can ask a college team to play 17 games in a season.

Whether that game is retained or dropped, injuries are going to mount up with the new playoff expansion. This will lead to shorter pro careers.

They have to move theirs around because Atlanta is already taken on championship Saturday.

ACCCG has been in Charlotte for the past decade.
