Okay hear me out. The SEC had 12 members. It fawned over the Big 12 & merged with the four biggest names. So it has really become an improved version of the Big 12.
So the new conference name is The BIGGER 12.

The "Big-10" isn't limited to "10" members
The "Big-12" isn't limited to "12" members
The "Atlantic Coast Conference" isn't limited to members located on the "Atlantic Coast"
