That fan base won’t be happy on draft day.

All those “professional NFL scouts” got Anthony Richardson drafted #4 overall. His impressive stats include barely 50% comp, 12 tds to 15 ints.

Johnny Manziel
Tim Tebow
Mark Sanchez
Jamarcus Russell
Brady Quinn
Matt Leinert

Just off the top of my head and just QB’s.

All 1st round picks. All busts

Not saying Milroe can’t make it as NFL QB but just because NFL scouts rank them high don’t mean shite

Teams are grasping at any player they think can be a Lamar/JD5 type elite scrambler and then work on the passing as they go along. Milroe definitely fits that bill whereas Sanders and Ward are not runners at all.

College stats are not the end all be all either.

Josh Allen threw 21 INT's his last 2 years at Wyoming with 55% completion both years. At Wyoming in the MWC. Then his first year in the NFL he had 52% completion 10 TD 12 INT but by year 3 he was basically elite.

Nobody in the NFL has figured out a magic formula because we still see booms and busts every year. For every Josh Allen or Tom Brady there’s a JaMarcus Russell or Zion Williamson .

The next Anthony Richardson or Will Levis. Levis singlehandedly made me not like the Titans once they drafted him. Not saying I was super fan or anything but haven't watched a game since.

Milroe has the same choke job mentality. Any QB that can make Tennessee's defense look like the 85 Bears (like Levis & Milroe) isn't going to cut it in the NFL, let alone a top 5 pick.

I'm hoping Jerruh thinks LANKy is the Dak Prescott he was actually looking for

I saw him going 9th to the Saints, which would be the Saintiest thing that ever Sainted.

No the Saints will draft someone from Ohio State. They will trade half their picks and next year’s first to move up 1 spot to do so.

Or they will draft a project from a Division III school that will be available in the 5th round.

The two scouts who convinced their teams to draft Daniel Jones and Mitch Tribinski say "Hi"!!!

The Saints GM will probably trade up for him and mention that you have to look “beyond the results”.

Well you don’t need to be a pocket passer in the NFL anymore to be successful. Hell Jalen Hurts was one of the worse passers I have seen in college and he is about to go to his second Super Bowl.

He's nowhere near as polished as Caleb Williams was coming out of college and no way in hell do I see LANK as a top 3 pick. If he is some GM is going to be fired in 2 years.

I’ve said this before, he has all the tools to be an absolute beast of a modern day QB…except the one between the ears

At least two of these were due to work ethic - once they left the structure of school, they fell apart (Manziel and Russell). The physical talent was there; it's hard to know 100% (though admittedly the warning signs were there) that someone is going to fail due to poor work ethic.

Why not? These days the NFL has completely embraced the college offense. Rookies are playing like seasoned veterans due to the RPO/spread concepts many are running.
