New Arkansas coach hiring thread that's not stupid

Every year, the idiots come out with "the sweepstakes candidates" because soyboy sportswriters tell them to.
This year it's "Mike Elko!!" or "Prime!!"
In previous years it was "Billy Napier!!" and "Tom Herman!!" and yada...
So anyway, realistic GOOD/GREAT coaches for Arkansas:
- First call goes to the Wash Huskies coach. Make him tell us no as we call others for backup.
- Clay Helton at Georgia Southern
- Willie Fritz at Tulane - no dipshits, he's not too old
- Chris Klieman at Kansas State
- Lance Leipold at Kansas - no dipshits, he's not too old
- see if Matt Campbell at Iowa State wants to talk since the shine is off him now. He stayed there too long. He had NFL teams after him. Now maybe he'd love a new gig.
- the Coastal Carolina guy who went to Liberty
- adding the Washington State coach - Like him! He's going to do some good things I think.
Get one of these 8 guys or SHUT THIS frickER DOWN
I almost said take the Vandy coach, and I'm not lying. At least interview him.
Call the Oregon State coach just in case. You never know. He's at his alma mater, but just see.
I would say Dave Clawson, but he's never had a job in the Central Time Zone, much less west of the Miss River

My hope is for Sam to win out, walk into his press conference with a cold beer, crack it open and takes a big slug of it then proceed to tell his detractors to go frick themselves.

Didn't someone say Lincoln Riley in the current thread? 
Either from Kansas or KSU. Results of Leipold at Kansas are more impressive.
Clay Helton seems like a solid hire if you could pull it off. Did some good things at USC. Someone not on your list is Bronco Mendenhall. I like his teams... physical. Last couple of years was meh at Virginia but also dealing with Covid BS.
