While I agree UGA is playing better football right now, based on losses you really can't rank Georgia ahead of Alabama. We lost by 5 points in a game we could have won in the end while Georgia got blown out by 28 in a game they were never in.

Counts for 1/3 of the BCS standings, Coaches poll another 1/3 then computer rankings.

Um, no. The AP broke away from the BCS. Nice try.

People need to calm down. Bama wont lose more than 1 game. IMO, if lsu hadn't let bama score that last second td and let bama win, a&m would have felt the anger of bama losing.
Bama is going to go in the seccg and destroy uga. Remember, this is the same uga that threw 3 interceptions (i think?). If uga doesn't win the turnover battle, game won't even be close.

Negative. The AP is no longer used in the BCS formula.

Alabama hasn't won the turnover battle in two weeks. We turned it over twice against LSU and three times against Texas A&M. You can't win a championship doing that.

What makes you think Bama is so good?

They have played two good teams all year and should have lost to both. Not to mention they gave up about 450 yards to both teams and were beaten down physically in the 4th quarter of both games.

UGA is probably going to win playing in their back yard in Atl.

I view bama like I do my dirty birds. They go undefeated, they won't win post season. Yall got a kick in the arse, but can bounce back. UGA is overrated and it will be seen in ATL.

The team isnt #1, but their coaching is. Every once in a while, a team needs to lose. Lets see how they bounce back. But IMO, the best teams aren't meeting up in ATL. But LSU hurt themselves by just now finding a passing game.

And Auburn 2010 should've lost about 4 games. What the hell is your point? Georgia needed like 15 mindless turnovers to barely beat Florida.

Also, while LSU certainly outplayed Bama, how can the same be said of Texas A&M? We out gained them in total yardage despite 3 turnovers and fewer minutes of possession.

Bama should drop to 5th since they lost at home and late in the season
And put UGA 4th?

Nah UGA's strength of schedule will keep that from happening.

Yeah, that can happen when you play two offenses with totally opposite styles with the talent of LSU and A&M in consecutive weeks.

AP is a big bag of shite. Gumps should drop out of top 5, losing to the #15 team in the country. Not just get beat, but get dominated (score didn't reflect). And also get dominated at LSU but barely pulling of a W.
