Losing by 4 TDs is an improvement over the previous coach.

This one actually tries to win.
The previous would actually try to lose by as little as possible.

Bama knows it based on previous trips to Kroger Field. The games lasted 4 quarters. But you never felt it was in doubt.

These might get out of hand earlier. But if a play or two hits, the wildcats have a shot fo pull off the upset.

Mark Stoops lost by 28 the last time Kentucky played Alabama in 2023.

I see no reason to hate on Kentucky.

Good luck to them the rest of the season.

We ended up having a pretty good recruiting weekend due to the turnout and potential in the 1st half. The potential is there, fans have shown they’ll show up, just need to build some depth. Everyone with sense knows this season will be tough for Stein between the SoS and the roster turnover between staffs.

Would you have rather we folded the program after one game?

All y'all piss off.

It was a shite collapse in the second half. Was it because of a structural problem ? Because Alabama might have the best secondary in the country and our WRs are weak ?

I don't know. We'll know more this weekend. You will too.

But it was a shite second-half effort. And if that's how it goes all year ? Not good.

And we need a damn punter.

Kentucky fans in football are becoming the new South Carolina fans. Incredibly loyal.

I was watching the SkyCam broadcast with no announcers and way more stadium noise pumped in. Sonsofbitches were into it in the first half. Did the BLUE WHITE chant ad nauseum.

But then later in the second quarter the gameday people starting playing a bunch of loud music in between plays and possessions. I swear when they start doing that shite it actually kills the fan vibe more than it helps. They do the same shite at Sanford Stadium.

I’d respect it more if your top fans wouldn’t embrace “2nd most watched game!” for a game yall lost by four touchdowns.

You’re right. Even Vandy has a recent win against Alabama. Missouri is the only program that can’t say “we’ve beat them lately.” When it comes to Kentucky it’s Tim Couch and a whole bunch of failure.

Still, Matt Jones’ celebratory tweet is sad and bizarre.

I respect the hell out of Kentucky football only Kentucky fans. Most humble group of folks you’ll ever meet. They were apologizing in the grove to us after wrecking our 2024 season lol.

UK killed the first half and then the talent mismatch doomed them in the 2nd. They won't do as well against A&M this weekend since it's a road game and my wallet will be happy about that since LSU plays UK on October 10th due to UK fans still being excited about Stein.

With that said I'd like to see UK be better at football. They really do have a great gameday atmosphere and the fans shows up to games.

You're the kind of football fan I can respect. Hope your Cats steal a game or two this year. I'll pull for y'all this weekend.

And there it is.

So instead you can kindly shut the frick up. Nobody cares about your non-existent “respect”.

And you can kindly hold this 28 point defeat spun as a win.

Congratulations!

They have a way to go.

They had a golden opportunity to make a statement and they did absolutely nothing the entire 2nd half.

He had them ready to play. Are we really at the point where a new coach is expected to take Kentucky and be knocking off Bama in their second game?

Bama should be worried about how much they got after your QB and pushed you around before your depth took over...you won't have that advantage over every team in the conference.

Why you gotta piss on Kentucky though?
