I'll rank the great hoops coaches of Ole Miss like this:
1. Barnes
2. Evans
3. Kennedy
frick. Brady would head their list let alone Brown

Reality needs to set in for Arkansas fans.
Tradition rich program. Arky underperformed VCU and George Mason (CAA) for the last 10 years.

how could a program be so shitty that it can't muster up 20 appearances in the NCAA tournament. anyone outside of the top 4 should be ashamed.
Well, obviously that changes for Alabama next week.

McKey was a high 1st round draft in that year's NBA Draft so maybe he had an improper contact with an agent during the postseason. That's the only thing I can even think of possibly happening

SETTLEMENT. Sports agent Norby Walters will avoid criminal charges by paying the University of Alabama more than $200,000 and agreeing not to deal with Southeastern Conference athletes. Walters faced misdemeanor charges for his dealings with former Alabama players Derrick McKey and Terry Coner. The university lost $253,447 in tournament revenue when the NCAA learned the players had been playing under contract to Walters during the latter part of the 1986-87 season.

IMO,I'd swap Evans and Barnes. Yea,Barnes was the one who finally took them to a Sweet 16, but Evans did a great job getting them competitive before going to Arizona State.
Bob Weltlich much better than Kennedy.

Nice find. Sick and tired of scumbag pro agents sinking their claws into weak minded college players.

And there was a thread here calling Donovan overrated. To go from nothing to a team with 2 championships, 3 championship game appearances and 4 Final Fours, pretty remarkable change.

Our entire NCAA tournament history is within the last 25 years. So you will have to excuse me if I could care less about Kentucky's NCAA titles in the 40's and 50's...and even 70's, We were busy partying and not giving a frick!

And Florida then had to vacate their 1987 appearance, too.
