I am getting a weird sense of Deja Vu.
I am playing the best offense of all time with some holes on their D. Statistically I am the better team, but everyone discounts that based on conference. Where have I seen such a weird scenario before?

O really? What position do you play?
Clemson fans sound an awful lot like those arrogant Bama fans last year that they continue to talk about.
Clemson played a young qb in Tua, with a senior laden defensive line that are mostly NFL starters this season.
This time Clemson plays a senior qb, with a far less talented defensive line.

Look, I am in no way saying this isn't going to be a great, close game. Anybody who says otherwise simply isn't looking at the talent on both sides.
But, I have looked at the individual match ups and I see a pretty even comparison with the exception of LSU WR vs Clemson DB's. The numbers are in our favor, I don't think you have enough ELITE DB's to cover the number of ELITE WR we have CONSISTENTLY.
I see 1 maybe 2 series where LSU comes out ahead, that is why I see a 10 pts game.
Could interceptions, sacks and fumbles play a huge part? Absolutely, and I suspect they will.

A UCF fan sucking Clemson dick?
Oh I get it, you're still butthurt over the loss LSU gave you guys last year.

valid observation, though Tua's problems last year weren't so much youth as the 2 injuries. Still, the UA defense couldn't stop Clemson. Bottom line is that Clemson was the better team.

We owe UCF a debt of gratitude, not their sad fans like the troll that started this thread, but rather that cheap shot artist who blindsided Burrow and woke up a sleeping giant who has been embarrassing defenses ever since that hit.

I'm loving this false sense of security Clemson fans have because they beat Bama last year, thinking that something that happened last year has any bearing on this year.

Last year I agree, this year's Clemson is not as good as last year's Clemson.
As quickly as LSU can score, I don't think CLemson can keep up.
Now if they find Burrow's kryptonite then all bets are off. So far no one has been able to do that

I agree with that since, as you or another poster noted, Clemson lost 4 (!) defensive linemen to the NFL

I didn't say we are going to skull drag yall like most of your fans and the rest of the Rant is claiming. I am just saying maybe we are able to hang with LSU.
Burrow might have too many weapons for us to cover and get to the quarterback. I thought the same thing about Tua and Bama last year (too many weapons). Bama's WRs as a group last year were better, but both units are flat elite. We don't have the same DL that we did last year.
Your fanbase is awfully confident, and all I am saying is I have heard it in the recent past. Maybe the past doesn't repeat, but its the same story that was told last year.

Now do that comparison with Bama and Clemson's schedule the year prior. The same daggum thing was said.

….and that is why they play the game!

I think this will be the problem as it has been for every defense we've faced.
I also cant see Clemson being able to score with LSU.
