Do you think if both State and Ole Miss are top 7 at the end of April that they’ll give both of us a super host?

We'd be national seeds so yes. It sounds like the regional round will play out as normal with the SR round being the only one that's different but national seeds host so.

I guarantee you that's why ESPN/SEC network has been hiding games featuring these schools (all of which are in the top 5) on fricking SEC+ and other bullshite.

The baseball TV schedule for this season was set before the 1st game was played.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Feb. 17, 2021)-----A total of 93 Southeastern Conference baseball games are slated to be televised during the 2021 season, it was announced Wednesday by the SEC.

State did get 2 on a TV channel against U.K. Thursday was on espnu and Friday on SECN.

But yea overall it’s been bullshite. Powers that be don’t want people to see normalcy. You know it sticks in their craw when they see full seats and no masks behind home plate at Dudy Noble

Honestly as an A&M fan, I'd be happy to make a Regional at all at this point. Sucks for the competitive teams

ACC/SEC/B12 should tell the NCAA to get fricked and have their own tourney. Won't happen since it's not a money sport but I'm tired of cucked conferences having input on everything we do when all they do is frick it up.

If that's the case, then get rid of this ugly flag and bring back the original.

They’ll frick us both over and Arkansas too. They won’t want to allow it to be a full capacity park with no mask mandate. That would be way too normal looking for the nation to see

NCAA: Oh, you want to open your ballparks up to 100% ? No regionals for you. That will show em.

Kendall buried the lede here. They're choosing the sites based on merit at the end of April. Basically all they're doing is picking a month earlier so that they can make sure the sites are prepped for COVID protocol.

Basically if MSU/Ole Miss/Arky don't implode, they will be hosting and they'll host the SR even if they don't make it.

A LOT can happen the last month of the season. It’s a bullshite move

Wait, I thought we weren’t woke which is why the ASG was taken away? But we just voted for democrats to the senate and president? Are we blue and woke or a state full of Republican rednecks?

Y’all voted for Biden and gave the Senate to the Democrats and it still wasn’t good enough for the woke crowd. Talk about tripping over your own dick

it's not just that. Host sites have been dealing with state ordinances with COVID guidelines already to be able to host their own games. They don't need a month of prep work to get everyone on the same page. It would have made more sense to play in a bubble like they did with basketball rather than award host sites with 3-4 conference series and conference tournaments left to play. Hell, we have gone from not hosting at all to a national seed in that time frame in the past. Other teams have lot series down the stretch that took them out of hosting contention. You're definitely going to see teams get screwed with the way this is set up, especially in this conference where you don't really have many off weekends. Anything can happen in this sport. Can't wait to see a 3 seed hosting a regional. I almost hope it happens to show how stupid this plan is

It also deserves mentioning as to what their plans are for the super regionals. They're worried about COVID for the regional round and can't even predict where the supers will be hosted until the teams play the regionals. These teams will have been traveling around the country to different locations every weekend all season, but god forbid they have to do the same in the NCAAT without the NCAA sticking their noses into it
