Yes, and while a Jordy doesn't come along that often for anybody, the closest we've been to recruiting a true ace recently has been Lowry...and we all saw how far she is from that today.
Rocha has been thriving on transfers for a good long while now. They didn't work out as well this year, though Guachino is far from bad. She's just not consistent enough, like the whole staff.
Mississippi State's and Tennessee's pitching have been incredible this year. Their ERAs don't look super elite, but that's mostly/solely due to the tiny strike zone.
I know home run races are exciting, but it's gone way too far with the ridiculous pitch calling. They need to revisit that in the off-season.

I have little doubt OU will play lights out next game but even the homer OU fans would have to admit this team is one of the softest OU softball teams in the last 7-8 years . OU will make the World Series but after that who knows .
I also wanted to let the Miss state fans know that I have followed you all season and knew you guys had this in you . Well coached team and it’s a big win for any school . You’re the first one to beat OU at home in the last 18 games in supers . Hope we don’t fumble a series away .
