Joe Schad?@schadjoe3m
The NCAA will announce infractions committed in Mississippi State's football program on Friday, as reported by @McMurphyESPN\
It's never good when Joe Schad is tweeting about your school.

Solid point. Joe Schad is the College Football equivalent of Chris Hansen.

1 year probation, 1 scholly per year for two years, I beleive
A recruiting violation is an automatic Major. The standard is 2 years probation. LSU got 1 because because of self-reporting, cooperation, firing coach (not sure how MSU handled it). If best case scenario I would think 2 schollies for 2 years, probation for 1.

And that's about all you can do unfortunately. Prayers sent.
I will say if I'm a NCAA school that gets hit with anything by an Infractions Committee right now, I immediately start questioning whether the NCAA acted properly during the investigation. Scrutinize, scrutinize, scrutinize and hope for The U treatment.

I know. I was joking about another posters from the past(not sure who it was) "knowing exactly what was going to happen. I believe they also said it wasnt going to be considered a major. How in the hell do you lose schollys without a major violation

The most important thing is that 5 year window (UA can back me up on this
). Let's say MSU gets probation from July 1 2013 - July 1 2014. There is a 5 year window now (till July 1 2018) that if MSU gets another Major they will be considered a repeat offender.
This is bad.

This is bad.
