I don't want to laugh to hard at them and set up the bad karma for us, but I do find it funny that the announcement comes just in time to rain on their super regional parade.

If they werent the biggest cry babies about recruiting then it wouldn't be as funny

Big, if true. RT @ScoutSteveR: I can guarantee you NCAA sanctions will be worse than MSU fans want and a lot less than Ole Miss fans want.

The NCAA will announce infractions for Mississippi State's football program on Friday morning, a source told ESPN.

A source confirmed to ESPN that the violations are major in nature and will probably include some elements of self-imposed penalties related to recruiting.

Mississippi State freshman defensive back Will Redmond was the subject of an NCAA interview that his coach at Memphis East High School gave, according to the coach, Marcus Wimberly, ESPN reported.

The irony is great, for sure. Especially if their booster slipped some hundos to Redmond right in front of people.

If Steve Robertson says that MSU fans will be upset...it means that we are safe.

What's getting them in trouble is their WR coach sent Redmond to that booster. It's one thing if the coaches could say they didnt know about it because its impossible to control boosters, but having recruits sent to certain boosters fricks them dry

Wow...all 6 SECW teams have been on some form of probation since Auburn's last...as well as 4 of the East teams.

Perception is not reality, it would seem.

Yup. I think I'm gonna look for Bundy's old thread from when Mirando was hired. The one talking about his 20 page paper on recruiting.
