Exactly this. I really love it how the only people bitching about the substitution thing are fans of schools who run the HUNH. Your coaches found loopholes in the rules, the loophole is about to be closed, get over yourselves.

except the offense does NOT control the subs.

saying it over and over doesnt make it true.

the defense is free to sub whenever it wants.

if the offense subs they are even required to wait for the D to get a guy in.

too f-ing bad if its too taxing for your dumb arse DC to think more than 1 play at a time.

yea but it'll stop your fans from booing injured players. having the trainers out on the field all the time takes a lot of time.

hey you know what would help curb that far more?

make that guy sit out for more than 1 play when he goes down.

it should be 5-10 minimum and probably the duration of the possession.

Tough shite.

If you can't get the 1st Down the "normal way" then your team has no business getting an extra set of downs anyway.

Too bad he can't poison them twice. Way to trash an Auburn legacy's business by the way.

I disagree with this on the grounds of the 4th down against Ole Miss for Vandy this year. Why should Vandy be penalized that our star WR had been cramping then got pumped full of fluids only to be hit in the stomach to cause him to regurgitate those fluids?

no it really doesnt

nobody is stopping the D from subbing guys

once again, the D can sub whenever it wants

if your DC is worth a shite he will know his players well enough to know when to go ahead and sub them in anticipation of what the offense is doing.

the HUNH is a gimmick. it's like the "quick pitch" in baseball. it's bush league and it's chicken shite. i hope they do eliminate it. line up and play football beatch. quit being a pussy.

Says quit being a pussy while rallying against a rule that his team doesn't like.

It won't affect that at all if your team is smart enough to wait 9 seconds before establishing the LOS.
