They wanted to avoid a matchup between Michigan/OSU and it backfired. Hopefully they learned not to artificially manipulate the matchups.

You are absolutely right! The truth is there is SEC fatigue, it is obvious against Bama and trust me if GA keeps winning, they will turn on GA too. There is no way in hades they wanted 2 SEC schools in NCG, whoever the opponent would have been against GA, TN, AL, etc.
They would have loved to have had proved that they don’t “favor “ SEC by an all Big 10 NCG. Even with all their help, the committee couldn’t keep the SEC from claiming another title.

Anyone whining about their team not getting in the playoff this year should stop to consider that they would have, at best, been TCU or Ohio State. Michigan and UGA were in no matter what. Ohio State took UGA to the wire and UGA scraped by TCU....either OSU or UGA could have done to anyone in the country what UGA did to TCU, or close, under the right conditions. TCU was not a bad football team...they would have been competitive against anyone in the nation under most circumstances....UGA is just better than everyone at the moment. It'd been really bad had Bama got in and lost by 35 or so....and the way UGA was on Monday it could have very well happened....

Every team "could have lost several games on just a couple of plays. You could say, Bama was 2 plays from being undefeated , by that logic, right?

Yes Ohio State played a weak schedule so did tcu. Ohio st didn’t win their conference neither did tcu. Osu has talent tcu doesn’t try to explain it any way you want but gun to head everyone neutral that watches college football knew osu was better. The real loss here is explaining college football to an ole miss fan that thought tcu was better than osu

Sure but Bama fans acting like they should have been over TCU and Ohio State is hilarious.
