Why? Because Iowa didn't get in?

You know what else killed itself this year? Iowa’s offense.

This has to be your fifth thread whining about your team (Bama) not being gifted a spot into the playoffs. Give it up.

Dude don't shivagit about Iowa. He's a Bama fan Alt. He's got almost 600 posts in 3 months on an SEC board.
He hides behind the Hawkeye logo b/c he thinks it makes him seem like an objective outsider.

Committee did its job. Not it’s fault that Michigan didn’t do it’s job.

The regular season matters, for now.

No they didn’t. Committee put the correct teams in this year.

This was an easy year for the committee. They nailed it

I have no complaints with the committee but to say they nailed it is an overstatement. I think everyone but tcu fans knew tcu should of been the 4 seed. Regardless of schedule or who lost when. We all knew osu was a better football team.

Maybe he’s just looking at things from a bird’s eye view?

Great semi's. Isee only TCU as a mistake, but their hands were pretty much tied on thta one. Probably should have gone with:

1 Georgia
2. Michigan
3. OSU
4. TCU
They wanted to avoid a matchup between Michigan/OSU and it backfired. Hopefully they learned not to artificially manipulate the matchups.

I agree 100%, but this also highlights why expanding the playoffs to 12 teams is a mistake. There are rarely 4 teams that are even semi-evenly matched at the top.

Two good games, one bad game.

That's better than we get most of the time.

2021- one good game, two bad games.
2020- Zero good games.
2019- one good game, two bad games
2018- Zero good games.
2017- Two good games, one bad game.

They list part of their responsibilities as avoiding rematches - which applies to playoffs too.

Which is dumb and proved to be a mistake. That said, I think TCU was a little wide eyed at the stage and then we jumped on them and they couldn't recover. They were a better team than they showed.....my opinion.

So at the time of selection, TCU was 12-1 with its only loss a 2 point loss in OT in a conference Champ Game l.

Ohio State got to sit at home while USC lost in Champ Game. No way they could move them to 3 ahead of TCU.

If you just want Alabama Ohio State Georgia Michigan in no matter their records I don’t know what to tell you. Except that’s so wrong.

TCU was 13-1 with a narrow arse loss in OT going into Champ Game.

Bama could have easily lost 5 games this past year. Ball in The air to beat them at Texas at Ole Miss and vs A&M.

Solid arse year for Bama but they didn’t get it done to make playoffs. And guess what, that’s okay
