Mississippi campionship venue?

We’ve hostEd regionals, super regionals, and women’s basketball (first two rounds) every year for the past few years and draw the biggest crowds for those events.

Isn't Delta State pretty good at college baseball too?

I'm not sure how D2 does its post season baseball tournament though.

Time for MSU and Ole Miss to be the first schools to tell the NCAA to pound sand. P5 schools and SEC schools specifically do not need the NCAA.

Yes they are usually pretty good. Ironically the SWAC signed a 3 year deal to play their baseball tournament in Jackson starting this season. Guess they didn’t have a problem feeling welcomed and safe.

No postseason college sports in Georgia. Oh wait.... they would have to move the SEC Championship game. That's really inconvenient for them.

At the M-Braves stadium I guess?

Once FAMU actually starts playing in the SWAC that will be a hell of a tournament at a great venue.

Get ready LSU Baws

There can be no place within college sports where any student-athlete is demeaned or unwelcome.”

Likely because HBCUs don't have top notch facilities to start with and just maybe the City of Jackson just happened to have a Minor League Stadium that wasn't being used was the best facility to host that tourney among conference members, before then it was Played in NOLA at some MLB Baseball Academy facility

Due to lack of choices and lack of money, they made the best decision for their Org despite confederate symbols

About 20% of the black voters, who voted the last time it came up for a vote, voted for the current flag. Personally, I would like to see it changed. The current flag was adopted in 1890. So it hasn’t always been the state flag. If it was changed before, it can change again. But the NCAA and the SEC should stay out of it. Mississippi voters will ultimately decide. And there are a lot of Republicans who support the change, including the Republican Speaker of the House.

The ESPN article said Mississippi was the only state affected. I think the writer or the rule makers were too stupid to realize other states have other allusions to the confederate flag. Georgia has the same thing with an added emblem as the older confederate flag.
