JPF plead guilty and admitted stealing money from a cancer charity to pay LSU players and their parents in June 2019. The evidence was public record and available to the NCAA. Emmert's NCAA failed to issue a Notice of Allegations and sanctions until after the 2019 season because of blatant corruption.
