Some type of matching scoring. Hopefully, it's not today's results.
However, if I am following this correctly, BYU isn't playing today and has already carded a horrible +24 for their third round. So, that effectively eliminates them. So, even with Bama choking, there is one more spot above them open.
However, they have quite the work to do to get in the top 8 after tomorrow.

It is a five-count-five format for the teams involved. The team with the lowest total of its three non-counting scores advances.

Am I reading this correctly that they take the best 4 scores of the 5 each day? So basically your worst score for the day doesn’t exist?

Correct, unless you are involved in a tie breaker for the 15h spot. Then it is five-count-five.

With the down and up roller coaster they have been on, they will probably wind up with the #1 seed for match play. If they make the cut in stroke play.
