That’d be like watching Goodfellas on AMC. I can’t do it.

Bama and Florida gonna get the hundred in their games. UNC gonna go to the Sweet 16. I swear, if the SEC chokes in round one........

It happens every year, and it isn't necessarily choking. These underdog teams go out there with no fear and let it fly, and the 3 point line is the equalizer. The longer the lower seed stays in the game, the more confident they get and the tighter the favored team plays. It is hard to stay loose when things aren't going your way. Then the crowd gets into it. It doesn't matter what team you root for, everyone roots for the U-dog.

not every SEC team will be the higher seed or the favorite in their first round game. Some of the SEC teams losing is actually what is expected. Not sure why folks think if 14 teams don't advance, that it proves something.

Based purely on seeding, the SEC should go 9-5 in the first round. That is assuming that Texas wins their play in game. The following teams are all the lower seed:

Texas 11
Oklahoma 9
Vandy 10
Georgia 9
Arkansas 10

Three of the four 8-9 matchups feature SEC teams. Those games are tossups. State is 8 in one. And Ole Miss and Missouri as six seeds have tough matchups. So 8-6 would not be a surprise. Going .500 or worse would be a disappointment.

After how things were going, I’d take an elite 8 for Arkansas in a heartbeat. But I’m more realistic than that.

He would have to be coach of the year in something…;)
After 1-6 start & coaching ‘4 different teams.’

Why would anyone want their team to lose in a win an advance tourney? Who knows what can happen. You can find lightning in a bottle.

Yeah that was a weird comment. But Texas is gonna get smoked if they don't focus up and run an actual offense

winning a game or two possibly keeps Terry around.. we can’t go anywhere this year.. our coach is lousy and our team just isn’t very good.

We have moments, and we aren’t bad, but we aren’t good either.

Oh that makes more sense. I was pulling against LSU in Les Miles last season... I get where you're going.

Yeah it's gonna be tough for them to pull this off, unless they really get dialed in.

it’s very similar to Pierce the last couple of years.. but he was a better coach than Terry, and he occasionally pulled a rabbit out of his arse
