Gotta be at least a little discerning that the NCAA is just "asking some questions" about other recruits though... This is completely going in a different direction than anything Newton.

Really what else would they do. They have have 1000+ page thread on a blog, that now has its own website, with followers calling and emailing them everyday. Due dillegence. As I said before, time will tell. I am not concerned at all though.

None of us can do anything to affect the outcome. Life is far too short to be wound up tight about some shite like this.

With the NCAA, in reality, it is never over, even if they rule. The is no double jepoardy rule. If new evidence comes about they will make a new decision in all matters.
4 years is the statute of limitations for the NCAA fwiw.

I think the statute of limitations is for sending the school an LOI or whatever they call it now.

He said that info is coming this afternoon. I just think its funny that the auburn line is he isnt credible, yet I havnt seen anyone tell me why, or shown me something that he wasnt correct on.

you can find the same lack of logic on the political board.
on there, if its not from FOX it does not count for much.
its therefore amusing that the source of this story is FOX.

Evans is still trying to save face over the Cam stuff. He has to find something on Auburn or lose his job. If you notice, he has only blogged one or two stories since the first of the year. Fox has him on a short string.

IMO, the NCAA is going to come down on Auburn at some point, it's inevitable. When and where are the only questions.

Agreed. AU has too many fingers pointing at them. The NCAA will keep digging until they have enough evidence to BOOM them and quiet the yelling. It's just a matter of time now.

I believe these both to be true. They will find something. I would never doubt that. It may not bet the bingo/free debit card scandal that some people are hoping for but they will find something. The real question is, what will they do about it?

There is so much yelling, it would be funny if they come back and hit us for giving a kid a iphone or something stupid like that.

There is no program in the country that could go through the investigation that is going on without finding something.

I'm not taking up for the guy, but his stories as "senior college football writer," have tapered off in direct correlation with the end of the college football season. As long as he doesn't get in serious trouble and keeps driving traffic to the fox website, I don't suspect Foxsports.com cares or has him on any leash. JMO.

Auburn chose the wrong school if they did in fact get dirty with Lorio's players.
