He’ll, there’s already an annoying amount of commercialism at Ole Miss now. There are corporate logos all over the stadium, and ads are rampant on the Jumbotrons. “This replay sponsored by XYZ corporation”
It feels like there’s a sponsor for every drive, every kickoff, every blade of grass! Half the scoreboard is taken up by ads and logos so much so that the replays are not as jumbo as they should be.
I assume it’s like that everywhere. Why not put logos on the field and uniforms?

College sports don't exist any more.

Only minor league pro sports loosely associated with schools.

Once more fans realize what has happened, look for interest to crater.

Nobody cares about minor league sports because the NFL, NBA and MLB exist.

It's like that old joke about making politicians wear their sponsors.

We have spent the last several years obsessed with improving college sports for the TV people, players, coaches, and corporations

Can we get a few upgrades for fans? It's been almost universal downgrades for us for years now

That would be funny since this boards always talking about Sonic.

Hopefully Devon, MidContinent or some other oil company throws money at them if this is the road we are heading down.

Since they are millionaires now, I think college athletes uniforms should look like nascar.
