It's not illegal to call a player agent and talk about hypotheticals. Agents can share hypotheticals with their clients as well. If the player then enters the transfer portal, it's completely legal. Only an inexperienced coach would get directly caught up in that, ask Will Wade!

If you did more than 5 minutes of reading (difficult I know) you would see dabo said he does not have copies of the texts. Dabo said it could be resolved if the ncaa got their phones. NCAA can’t do that and Clemson main witness is wearing powder blue rn

If YOU read more than 5 mins you'd know that what Dabo said is he doesn't have the SECOND round of text messages from Ole Miss to Luke. The agent wouldn't turn them over because "He doesn't want to burn any bridges with ole miss."
As for the initial "I know your signed, what's they buyout" texts. They do have those. Eta: The way we know the have those is ferrelli and his dad showed them to Clemson to try and leverage Goldings first offer to a pay raise fir the kid.
Difficult, I know...

Nothing will come of this. Golding is a new HC, and "No one's ever made the first jump." He'll get this figured out, and they'll let it go.
