S2 just read the posts before yours for your answer. We played AM at home in 25 and again in 26. It's because of going to 9 games.

BountyHunter because it's a Super Bowl for Arkansas and meaningless for most at LSU. They're usually sky high, us not so much.

Korean grow a brain. It's Lane's first year at LSU following a pathetic HC. He didn't want many of LSU players so of course he has to go portal year one, but that should change. He hasn't been at LSU long enough for regular recruiting. The people on this board, not very bright.

ManBear you're a fool. Golding went to the playoffs with Lane's players and Lane's offense with LSUs offensive coordinator calling plays. Golding had little to do with any playoff wins and his crappy defense lost to Miami. The kids did leave it all on the field. ManBear the dream is OVER.

The FIRST YEAR he needs the portal because of asswipe BK, after he should get his base from regular recruitment and supplement through the portal. Many on the team were not wanted by Lane so he had to go portal.

Homemade shine I hear ya, been LSU since 65. But not all the kids are like that, money sure but some also get into the history and tradition. Check out the Elon QBs interview with Scone, he mentioned Tiger Stadium and the great tradition that he wants to be a part of. He's done some research.

The Elon kid was impressed with Weiss showing up at dinner with all he had going on. He would have understood if he didn't show. He also LOVED the food. Big surprise.
