HP ump had to call timeout when the AF coach came on the field to challenge the play at 2nd before his player tagged him out. They had no choice but to just review the play as asked and once he was found safe, put him back at 2nd.

Absolutely beautiful day at the ballpark. Didn’t play the best game but they cruised against the four seed.

Watch the review from CF. HP ump puts his hands up right after the play at 2nd.
My guess was that he was on the top dugout step when the ball was hit and figured why not use his challenge now..
I thought he was out (and it's obvious so did the AF coach), and it looks like the runner did as well, but the review showed otherwise.

You heard it here first, guys: the only reason Texas is the winningest program in regionals, super regionals and CWS history is because they're a bunch of meanie, bully cheaters!!!
