The longer an at bat goes on, with several fouls balls, especially with good hitters, the chances of a hit goes way up. They start getting their timing down and get used to the motion. A new pitcher changes that all up. Resets the odds.

Hell of a move by Scloss. Glad that’s done. Now the rest of y’all get your work done and we will see you in Omaha.

That one hurt. I thought Dalton hit the game winner. Congrats Aggies. Tough and gritty series

Both games could’ve went either way. Tough for Louisville.

The batter had seen 9 pitches from the pitcher. Schloss rolled the dice to put the hitter at a disadvantage — it worked.

Thank you and y’all have a hell of a team. Was certain that one was gone.

It's pretty simple. A batter is in the zone with your pitcher completely figured out so you frick with his rhythm.

I can pull for whom ever I choose and I chose to go against 8&forfiet and perversion.

Exactly this. It was a fantastic move by Schlossnagle but I hate that it's allowed. All of a sudden the batter has to wait 3 minutes and he's swinging at a pitch in the dirt.
