Only one I missed from my post this morning is ECU being a host..so far.
Missed ECU & Coastal. Who takes the place of my picks UConn and Auburn. Really figured Auburn would host.

Connecticut misses out.
Stetson, Minnesota, Coastal Carolina. Non traditional hosts that should be ready for LSU or MSU. They will send one of the traveling fan bases there.

Auburn gets shafted. Don't know what NC State, Texas, and Coastal did to host (actually, I do with the sips--Chris Del Conte is on the committee)

Kind of surprised Auburn didn't sneak in there.
D1Baseball missed on UConn as well. They didn't count on NC State making it in.

That's all they got going for them. They have a low rpi, got hammered against all the decent OOC games they played, and got shut out in the conference tourney.

Thats a big something going for them. Big 12 is #2 conference in elo. So they won the 2nd toughest conference in the nation. That means something.
I hate Texas also, but that is the reality. They are the champions of a top 3 conference and by that alone, they're deserving of hosting a regional.

Ive got us this way in Fayetteville...paired against Minnesota as the #4 overall seed

Strongly disagree. The committee is supposed to look at the entire body of work, and by the entire body of work, they are 22 in rpi, got killed against quality OOC comp, and went 0-2 in the conference tourney. If you look at the whole body of work, there are at least 4 teams that were left out who were more deserving.
