Who in the bullpen do you think would have magically stopped this?
There's a reason we've dropped double digit games this season by less than 2 runs. We don't have the pen to finish.
Especially when you lose your first game in a regional and have to win four in a row.

Losing an All-SEC closer before the season absolutely hurts as well (Hogan).
Then Nove not giving you anything when he HAS to be the experience in this situation isn't much within your control.
I won't be mad at Mingione for this. A regional final in a rebuilding season is a solid foundation.

Man what an 8th inning for OU..getting out of a bases loaded no outs jam, then an insurance shot. Now it’s 9-5 OU over UNC as we head into the top of the 9th.
