Would love to flip the narrative and eliminate Clemson today.

Gonna see if these boys have it in them to put together a 3 game run today and tomorrow. I don’t expect it but it would be a nice surprise.

I agree, but when you only play the tough non-conf teams in the post season and lose, this is the criticism you get. We had a tough as hell conference in basketball and still played a tough non- conf slate.

We all play a wood chipper of a schedule. The non con opponents allow an ever so slight breather from SEC competition.

Yes. Majority of SEC teams are in the losers bracket cause theys wuz 2 tired!!

This post season (so far) is quite the anomaly. Normally, the SEC is still beating the socks off of everybody. Not sure why the SEC's post season win-loss column is different this year compared to years' past.

Maybe Texas' soft culture has permeated throughout the league. That's a joke, sort of.

It's not valid criticism. It's a few games sample size over a 2 day period vs a decade of dominance.

Well I am not making the argument against he SEC, just putting out what the critics are saying. However, what happened in previous years shouldn't be pertinent to seeding. I know that isn't always the case though.

I’m curious how many teams are rebuilding this year. I know that was the case for us (and honestly our loss was to the 2 seed in our region, so that makes sense on paper).

Kentucky, State and OU are not in the category of underachievers as they lost to higher seeds, but everyone else has spit the bit, thus far. I will also give Bama a bit of a break. Losing 2 close games to Miami and Southern Miss, isn't choking, just a tough draw.

Just missed a walk off against Miami and blew it against USM in the B8 while up 5-3.

Alabama could easily be sitting 2-0 and in the drivers seat to possibly host a super given that Vandy lost to Louisville. Just bad breaks and missed opportunities in the big moments.

The other pussy conferences don't understand SEC baseball and why it's necessary to schedule that way.

Nope. Not buying it. Didn’t buy it before, not buying it now.

Half of the SEC is forced to play weak OOC games because the other of the SEC are a bunch of sleezy manipulating backdoor sumbitches.

Some days you’re the windshield, some days you’re the bug.

Such is baseball.
