I get that, it’s not an issue locally here but pretty understandable in a small town. Perhaps that should have been a factor on maybe playing on Friday Saturday and Sunday. And now they are going to try for a 10pm start with a game ending around 1am in a town that rolls up the sidewalks at 10 pm. So a couple hundred to a thousand non locals after a ballgame trying to find a hotel in a change town with nothing open, plus the teams, sitting for 4 hours during a delay with no AC, nothing to do, couldn’t go back to the hotel,

Edit - Hattiesburg is a neat little town w a decent college culture. I don’t have a dog in the fight but it pisses me off how you hillbillies are shitting on it because it isn’t Nashville.

I've never been to Hattie. One of my old coworkers was from there. He didn't attend SoMiss, but he was fond of his hometown. I'm sure it's a fine small city. I'm not going to hate on a place I've never been to.
