What the frick is going on with the weather this year? I don’t think there’s been a day with less than 2 delays during the tournament

Vols get a break. Lightning in the area. Teams pulled. Lindsey was probably getting pulled next inning. USM starter might be done if the delay is long enough.

Nothing is different with the weather. They used to play until the rain got too heavy to see the ball or lightning hit the scoreboard and knocked it out of commission. Now if there is a lightning strike detected within a a three state radius they delay the game for 30 minutes.
