What just happened in the LSU game? Did the ball hit the umpire or did the bat hit him? Catcher may have been crossed up but it looked like a funny swing from the batter, so I didn't know if he hit the umpire with the bat.

Yes. They have to take some additional time to add extra digits to the scoreboard in case the next team scores triple digits against State.
