Since we went down 8-2 vs GT, OU outscored them 21-7.

Honest question why to the call Auburn the plains? Is it flat there? I mean is it like the great plains of Kansas and Nebraska where you can see for miles and miles? I hear that reference about Auburn but never heardy why the call it that.

1. Auburn is on the coastal plain. Not super flat compared to like, you know, Nebraska, but compared to the rest of the surrounding area it is flat.

2. It’s a reference to an 18th century poem by Oliver Goldsmith which opens with "Sweet Auburn! loveliest village of the plain"

...Sooner

can't stand the Jaysquawks so I can pull for OU here. Plus I went to juco with a lady who later competed on the Sooners gymnastics team

Interesting.

UC Santa Barbara has probably crossed my mind less than 3 times in my life.

Down a run because they couldn't apply a tag at 2nd.

My wife(no pics) is a Sooner fan. I threw on an OU shirt this morning and surprised her Plus, if OU somehow wins it, it'll be that much worse for my Longhorn friends

They may not be Arkansas level at postseason fall apart jobs but they aren't far behind.

There is some irony that their color schemes are similar and their campuses are closer to each other than they are to any other SEC campus.

From reading earlier in the thread...

It is clear that there are a few Texas and Georgia fans who have never heard of Yogi Berra....or Lenny Kravitz...

Trust me as a local runner... outside of the airport, there is nothing remotely flat in Auburn.

That is so awesome for Oklahoma. Congratulations, Sooners - what a way to win it.
