We won’t make it very far if our bats don’t wake up though.

The umpire in the UCSB/Oregon game is a fricking idiot.

The batter was hit in the leg, didn't swing, but the ump won't call it a HBP.

Home plate ump had to be overruled by both the 1st and 3rd base umpires.

Oregon to the Regional Final. 14-UCSB faces elimination tomorrow.

Oregon is A&M's likely opponent in the Supers if this holds.

Wait. I've been living under a rock I guess (did a 6-mile training run this afternoon).

Hagan Smith LOST?!

Let's worry about winning on Sunday first. Then bring them Oregon boys down for some southern heat.

I think LSU is dead in the water.

Have to beat Wofford then North Carolina twice with no Jump or Holman and Christian Little isn't available either.

Two or three bullpen guys will have to have the games of their lives, it happened in Omaha last year but it's a tall task.

This points to exactly why the winners bracket game on Saturday is maybe the most important of the tournament. Win, and you go to the finals and have 2 shots to win 1 game. Lose, and you have to win 3 games in 2 days with a taxed pitching staff.

I don’t envy LSU’s spot here, but I’m not counting you out yet.

It would be interesting to know the exact percentage of teams that have won a regional from the elimination side of the bracket since NCAA moved to this format in 1999.

What happens to champions when you throw them in ‘meaningless games’.
It angers the baseball gods. You cannot turn mojo on & off.
Also K State small ball was fun to watch.
They practice bunting.

Same for the Hogs.

Gage Wood starts in the first game today. A predominately fast ball pitcher that can easily get shelled early or go 6 innings.

After that DVH will need to manage the bull pen and hope we can get runners across the plate.

Winning three with our post season woes seems like a daunting task.

No idea on the whole enchilada but 4 regionals I think were won last year from loser bracket teams.

3 by 1 seeds.

Hogs will play better at the brink of elimination. Hogs win out and go to supers.

LSU, not so much.
