Kentucky definitely did not catch a break. OS is a tough matchup.

Gonna need a ton of Big Blue fans to give that home field advantage. Big, rowdy crowds won’t bother OS but may boost the Cats enough to get it done

How wild will it be if that right side of the bracket was all SEC? I’m all for all 5 SEC teams getting to Omaha.

Corbin & Kevin = 3 Omaha CWS rings
Jacklegg = 0

it's quite clear who the actual baseball coaches are among the 3 -

Go Gators

I couldn't get the picture to post, but a couple of Gators stopped at a shop in the OK State airport and bought T-shirts saying "Oklahoma State Dad".

To be fair, we didn’t exactly catch a break in our region either with Indiana State as our 2 and everyone in the region either their conference regular season champs (ISU, Illinois) or conference tournament champs (WMU).

The pitching Saturday and Sunday was on point though, which is a huge deal.

Looking forward to playing a team not from Oklahoma. Sooners and Cowboys are wearing me out.

Not a dis, just tough teams.

Not tough enough! well at least so far..

related topic.. I heard an interesting name floated today..

Skip Johnson, OU Baseball Coach

He was the pitching coach for Augie from 2007-2016

Skip + Tulo would be an interesting combination.. I could see CDC going that route if the big names don't bite.. assuming he would listen..

Nothing like sticking it to your rival by stealing a coach from them right as you are transitioning with them and only them into a new conference full of cutthroats.

So Pierce is gone? Are the wheels really turning already?

Sorry if I missed the news, I was too busy watching LSU lose a regional.

South Carolina folks, hearing some hubbub locally that you may have interest in Dan McDonnell at Louisville. Anything to that?

I don't disagree that they shouldn't have hosted.

But pretending they weren't a solid 2 seed is silly. Or that again, the region wasn't a solid region.
