probably to do with the fallout from the accident that killed the football player. I'm pretty sure it's against ncaa rules to use female students as "recruiting staff", driving university provided vehicles, to go to bars, get wasted, and go home with recruits and players.
Person wasn’t a student, was staff. Person was driving vehicle in violation of numerous rules and without authorization. No recruits were involved.
Sorry, but we will continue ruling the SEC with an iron fist.

FTR, I did not down vote you. I would rather have a conversation than to post a nondescript down vote then run.

Why would the NCAA be involved in this at all?
The use of those vehicles is supposed to be for recruits that may be the connection. But who knows? There's not enough detail to know what they're looking at just yet.

This was pretty standard practice at FSU when I was in the athletic dept

I could see that. But if that is what this is about it seems like a pretty lame thing compared to what some people are wanting. I mean...a vehicle that is supposed to be used for recruits was used for something else by a person that did not have permission?

Your subject line is apparently false and meant to mislead.
The NCAA has no plans to investigate UGA. This has been fomented, in part, by writer, Garrett Carr of Brobible. He's a fresh-outta-diapers Penn State graduate and huge supporter/fan of the Nittany Lions and he has a huge bias towards the Big 10 and against the SEC.
He shouldn't be called a writer; instead, he magically treats his own ideas/dreams/fantasiest and then puts them into print as fact. He purposely created this and now a few others are trying to pick up on it such as your link.
