Colt is incredibly accurate and seems to excel in short range (5-7 yrd) passes which doesnt leave a lot of time to get to him

Its about coverage more than anything. I mean there were some times where Nebraska was in McCoy's face before he could do anything but there were a lot of times where he was forced to hold on to the ball longer than he wanted too because his receivers were covered and then the pass rush got to him.

FWIW I think Nebraska is better at getting pressure with four guys than we are but overall were a better defense and I think we can cover their guys.

I think we dominate Texas in every phase of the game. They have played two teams this year with a legitimate defense and they almost lost both games. They eked by Oklahoma without Sam Bradford and Nebraska embarassed their QB and exposed him as a joke against a real defense. Just for the record the Oklahoma and Nebraska D's are not in the same class as Alabama's in my opinion. The recievers for Texas could not get open on either of these two teams but we are to think they can against Alabama's defense? Not going to happen.

I don't see any way Alabama loses this game unless they are distracted by all of the other things going on. I just don't see Texas being able to hang with the Tide.
This.

IF Bama can play the way they did against the Gators, then Texas has no chance.

If Bama is focused and everyone executes well, Bama will win. Saban better have them focused.

I'll have money on this game. Bama please don't screw up.

QB - Texas

RB - Bama

WR - Push

OL - Bama

DL - Bama

LB - Bama

DB - Bama

ST - Push mainly due to Bama kickoff coverage

I wanna see how McCoy deals with McClain being on his arse as soon as he thinks he's going to tuck and run.

I just don't think Tejas will hang for more than a quarter.

Special teams will be big for Bama too

from an sec outsider, but fan of the sec...I really see Bama dominating this game on both sides...Bama plays even more physical than nebraska does plus they have an offense...I see Bama winning by 14...You take out shipley or limit him, could be worse

Lot's of NFL talent on OU's D and the same for Nebraska. The belong in the conversation with Bama's D.

You have to see that non-Bammers aren't going to give you much. Just look at the pure numbers of you guys, your threads and your level of delusion and arrogance.

Yeah, we should start good threads like "What if there was an imaginary Heisman candidate from the North East, would Ingram have still won?"...

bama 29-24- 24-23 texas with 1:38 to go and bama has ball on the alabama 5 yard line after a tremendous kick by texas. the crowd is screaming defense over on the tejas side as mcelvoy steps up to the line. mcelvoy drops back and heaves one to a flashing julio down the sideline and completes to the texas 5 yard line. after several stops, its 4th down and goal with 2 seconds to play. mcelvoy turns and hands off to ingram who falls into the endzone with time expiring. 50 thousand bama fans storm the field and bama waivers the extra point. the celebration lasts all night. rack up #13

Screw that! I don't mind a close game, but I don't want it to be THAT close. I'd have a damn heartattack and not even get to celebrate

Although if we win that way then I don't care
