I'm way more into recruiting right now than the Championship game.

I will watch it, but it does seem weird.

I guess I am hoping the Ducks win. This feels like their best shot. With USC rising and the PAC12 better overall than the past, it will be harder for them to get back.

Ohio State does not have to worry about Michigan yet, and Penn State, though improving is not much of threat.

Also if the Ducks beat them by 20 or more points, all the talk of the Ohio being back will stop.

Yep. It was embarrassing. I think it will probably hurt us next year in the polls. (not bama, but everybody else)
One of the rare times that we agree. I find it amusing that all you Bama-haters will be the ones hindered by the lack of their presence in the finals, while they will just keep on reloading and ending up in the top 4 most years.

Anybody else getting tired of the "X is going in dry" comments? No originality.

Hey. I read your fishing report in The angler!

It does seem that the hype isn't as big. And I have a big problem with the game being at 8:30 on a Monday night, always have!

I'm really just not very interested in this game. First, Bama isn't in it. Second, no SEC team is in it. Second, both teams that ARE in it are teams that I never want to win. It's tough to watch a game where I'm not pulling for either team, (or pulling against one of them).

That said, I think OSU wins.

I don't think the title game has as much hype this year because the controversy was played out in the other two games. And if you're team isn't in it, controversy is what drives you to watch games.

The SEC streak had everyone watching the OSU/Bama game. Jameis Winston had everyone watching the FSU/Oregon game. Now that the underdog (tOSU) won and the bad guys (FSU) lost there's not as much reason to tune in.

Its been overshadowed by the NFL playoffs. I honestly don't care all that much thanks to les miles. He sapped my give a fricks with his bullshite offense and the failure that was this season

I will watch it, but will do so like I watch NFL games...sort of in the background. if it was an SEC team, I'd be watching intently.

its offseason as far as Im concerned.

Everyone thank UGA for the considerable effort they've made in keeping the SEC in title games.

The state of Alabama is 4-1 in the National Championship games in the last 5 years.
The last time Ga. even sniff the game was 35 yrs. ago. The
best program in Ga. has played in one since then and kick
Ga. arse this year.

You have college football every Saturday for months and for some reason they move the CFB final to a Monday night. If it had been last Saturday we would probably had a party and invited friends over smoked a pig and all that.

No, it's on a work week night late just like the SB most people have obligations the next day....

I probably wont watch the end of it.

It couldn't be on saturday because of the NFL playoffs. I think it would actually be better on a friday night.

I actually think the college football playoffs affected the impact of the championship game.
It seems anticlimactic compared to ESPN’s buildup of the final 4.

Playoffs suck. It just isn't college football.

This feels like an exhibition game.
