Not good.

LSU vs Clemson had 25.5 million viewers.

Down 3 million from Bama vs. UGA from 2018 that scored 28.4 million.

More people watched Alabama's 2 Heisman winners on Saturday in the Ravens vs. Titans game, 29.4 million than watched the national championship.

Nobody wants to watch Clemson. They drag down our ratings.

Pathetic

This is all you have left. And you are such a pussy that you try to hide your biased fandom behind the sec moniker in your username. What a bitch you are.

Not shocking. Birmingham is far and away College Footballs biggest market so obviously ratings would be down a little without Bama in it

That was the best NC game that I have seen in a while. I was tired of seeing Bama/Clemson almost every season.

All this pussy does is melt about LSU. It’s sad, really.

Those NFL games are BROADCAST. You can't compare cable numbers to broadcast numbers.

So the ratings were up from last year's game when Bama was in it. LSU just continues to beat Bama. Maybe one day Bama can have a 15-0 team. It won't be soon, but maybe one day.

Right, that is why they watched.

With all the extra media attention that goes into the CFPCG, the game was looooong. Folks on the east coast wouldn't get in bed until almost 1 am, on a week night with having to go to work the next day. I think that played an issue as well.

I know that College and NFL try to not overlap, and we are deep into the NFL play offs, but I think the game would be better suited to be played on a Friday. Makes it easier on every one involved, those going to the game and those watching at home.

Why would anyone outside of LSU fans want to watch a foregone conclusion? Clemson fans didn't even watch the game so I would assume a low viewership.

“This matchup had a bigger audience than all three of the recent Clemson-Alabama national championship games. “

Obviously LSU is a bigger national brand than Alabama.

The 3M that didn't watch missed a hell of a game.
