You can't keep firing coaches lol - Tennessee did that after Fulmer, Texas did that after Mack, etc...

Saban really screwed up everyone's understanding of how to build and sustain big time programs, and Kirby is now doing the same thing.

Florida got in this mess firing Muschamp after 3.5 years, McElwain within 3 years, and Mullen within 3.5 years.

Exactly.

What is going on right now isn't Napier's fault, it's Cousin Eddie's. He left a bare cupboard and Napier is left to clean up the mess.

Put the blame where it belongs, on Mullen, not Napier

And this is coming from a Georgia fan.

could set a program back 4-6 yrs.

Brian Kelly took over a team that had like 30 scholarship players in a bowl game with no QB available and won the SEC West.

Good coaches can turn shite around QUICKLY.

That's b/c O left Kelly a fairly full cupboard in terms of talent. Mullen left Napier w/nothing.

He left him 39 scholarship players.

BK had to rebuild the roster and has finally got it back to 80.

Firing Napier right now with a top 3 incoming 2024 class would be stupid as hell.

Not if that class starts falling apart. If Florida is an open dumpster fire, you don't think those blue chip guys will give Georgia, Florida State, Alabama, etc. another look?

What the frick?

LSU started transfers at QB, one of the O Line, one of the D Line, and the entire secondary; a walk-on at RB; and true freshmen at both OTs, TE and one of the linebacker spots.

What are you doing? We want Billy to stay at UF as long as possible.

Exactly, that class can turn to shite in a hurry if the wheels come off this season.

The alternative of giving a coach more time and then cutting bait could set a program back 4-6 yrs.

I can see UF 86’ing Billy at the end of the year.

$31m is chump change in today’s major. CFB.

the sad thing is that it only goes down to 26mil after the '24 season. there's no falloff on the buyout. it only goes down incrementally, year to year. if they're gonna fire him, may as well do it after this year unless they just wanna wait it out.
