only one was in the playoff era and one of em was Nick Saban. That's not your average coach lol

and by that I mean he's a robot.

The Miles one feels like a down season in college football. Nobody remembers anybody on that team.

.

They destroyed the #1 team in the country.

Not sure what else they could've done.

Because you're a Clemson fan who didn't watch football till 2013.

No one else can pull off being the cluster frick that is LSU with that kind of efficiency. LSU is fricked up and special in it's own unique way.

They had two losses, one to Arky and one to Kentucky.

not sure how that could be considered one of best two teams in the country. may be the best example of SEC bias

No doubt.

Who should've got in over them?

This is gonna sting for my fellow bama fans but I think Gene Stallings (when you consider his lack of success elsewhere) is sorta a similar proof of program quality.

I met Gene as a young kid and he was a gracious and kind man. He won 70 games in 7 years at Alabama. One of the greats in the program’s history but he was just alright everywhere else.

no idea, that's why I said it was a down year in football.

i do think a team should have to win its conference to be in the playoffs. So i give LSU credit for that. Conference play should basically be the early rounds of a playoff.

Alabama got the 4 seed a few years ago despite not winning the SEC.

Legitimate question.

Why do you make a post then continue to edit it 4 or 5 times adding and deleting statements?

It's a very odd way to communicate.

Clemson won with Danny Ford and Dabo, both obscure coaches with no head coaching experience.

Les and O had head coach experience, no?

Tom Landry and Coach Bryant hired Stallings. Enough to say he was a good coach. His record at AM was AM's fault.

That would be an android. But neither androids nor robots have the sense of humor to do "Deez nuts" jokes.

Good to see you posting again Tillman, by the way.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the year we ragdolled Clemson and then won the whole damn thing.

Conference championships don't matter when the only conference championship worth winning is the SEC. The ACC, Big 10, Big 12, and Pac 12 all suck, and now that we've added Oklahoma the gap has widened even more.

bama didn't score much in that game, 2-3 more plays on offense for Clemson and Clemson probably wins it.

i don't think it is right a 1 seed gets Alabama in first round.

Clemson is not LSU, and Clemson only became relevant in the last 5-6 years. You're giving Clemson way too much credit. If you haven't noticed, Clemson is losing it's momentum as a program.

And if that was the case, LSU would have won it all in 2012
