If USC can get by UGA being 9-0 going into UF is possible and potentially worth the number 1 ranking
UGA and aTm have better odds though. Both will start off ranked in/around the top 5 and UGA has the chance to beat 3 top 15 teams in the first month of the season, while aTm could knock off top ranked Bama.

Not quite sure what this guy has against LSU.
Maybe he was gang raped in prison by Mike the Tiger.....

Meh, we heard that same shite in 2011. Schedule too tough, blah blah blah. If we play like we are capable we will be in the hunt

At the risk of sounding like a pessimist, I dont think that UGA is a valid answer. Just too much on the front end of the schedule. We always find a way to lose a game in the first half of the season.

If/when we beat Georgia in week 2 our schedule sets us up to go 9-0 then getting Florida at home.
UNC-W
@UGA- Toss Up
Vandy- W
@UCF- W
Kentucky- W
@Ark- W
@Tenn- Tough W
@Mizzou- W
MSU- W
Florida- ?
We beat UGA, we'll be ranked #1 at some point. I'd say we'd get there before A&M because they ain't beating Bama. Saban's full attention will be on getting that win.

The last time A&M was #1.... November 16, 1957
Needless to say, the Alabama game will be the biggest game at A&M since 1975 when A&M was #2 and Texas #5. A&M won that one and then promptly lost to some small secular school in Arkansas and a bowl game with Southern Cal.
