"Human waste has become such a widespread problem in San Francisco that the city in September established a unit dedicated to removing it from the sidewalks. Rachel Gordon, a spokeswoman for the Public Works Department, describes the new initiative as a “proactive human waste” unit.

At 8 a.m. on a recent day, as mothers shepherded their children to school, we ran into Yolanda Warren, a receptionist who works around the corner from Hyde Street. The sidewalk in front of her office was stained with feces. The street smelled like a latrine."

I'd much rather live in Alabama. I'm sure SF has some really nice areas but frick California in general.
OP is probably posting from Shreveport and listed San Francisco because he thought it would give credibility to his lame attacks on Alabama.

Not true.

The Birmingham Barons, Mobile Baybears, and Montgomery Biscuits all play professional baseball in the state of Alabama.
Birmingham Legion starts in 2019.

Are we seriously arguing over what's better between San Fran and Alabama? You fricking people on here.

It is a rather ridiculous argument. I guess it depends on your sexual preference, how you view the presence of thousands of aggressive homeless in the streets, a drug problem so overwhelming that there's no solution, a law enforcement that's so neutered by the liberal judicial system that it's afraid to protect its citizens...shall I continue?...did I mention your cost of living?
Bottom line, pal....if all that's your cup on tea, then you're not gonna like Alabama, and Alabama's not gonna like you.

San Fran

49ers
Warriors
Giants
Silicon Valley
Golden Gate Bridge

So I've lived in the Bay Area...Sunnyvale off EL Camino and also Palo Alto. I enjoyed living out their especially traveling to wine country Sonoma and Napa.

Let's not act like the Bay area is all good, traffic is terrible, parts of SF bay area are chit holes...Hunter point...areas of Van ness and 880. Oakland is a chit hole until you get to around Oakland Hills into Hayward. Downtown SF better be careful not to step on an aids needles. SF bay looks like toilet bowl most days and highly polluted.

Eh. Alabama is a nice state to live in. Bit boring and fairly shitty job market. But good people n family friendly.

Which is kinda in total contrast to Miami which has endless things to do 24/7 and decent economy but is full of assholes from the north and people that cant speak English.

I don't know about other people, but I was born and raised in a small town on the largest lake in Alabama I've always liked camping, boating, water skiing. Hubby likes hunting.

Bama also has some nice beaches on the Gulf.

If you're into night clubs & such, stay in San Fran.

I grew up in Palo Alto and my grandparents lived in Sunnvale so I spent a lot of time there. It was a GOAT spot to grow up in the 70's and 80's but it's a totally different place now.

Yeah it's still nice but very congested, from San Jose to Redwood city looks like one big city-state.

Many 'Bama fans return to their hobbies, like decorating their porches with appliances and visiting WalMart to look for after-season sales on UA T-shirts.
