Doesn't change the fact that both laws are fricking stupid and any cop that would write someone up for either is a Thug POS going for either his five minutes of fame (let's face it, probably what happened once the guy found out it was Johnny Football) or a blatant money grab for the state

You should watch the show parking wars on A&E,it follows traffic enforcement employees as they ticket, "boot," and tow cars as part of their parking enforcement duties.They are not cops.

I understand being annoyed about a stupid ticket but he's an idiot to think twitter is a smart way to respond... and he comes off as a tool completely lacking perspective with the "walk a mile in my shoes" nonsense

Good point because he shouldn't.
He might not be as mad just at the cop...even though from what i hear, the cop didn't have to write the ticket but did because of the circumstances. Those being, the residents in that area are getting more and more pissed at the college students there renting.
This is a mini war between the two groups. The old people that still live in the "historic district" and the college students who are renting the houses when those old people die...
From what i have been told, there are non stop complaints being called in, Just like this one was. The majority don't pan out but those old people have the damn city ordinances and codes and will scroll through them and do anything they can to "get them".
Still a bitch move by someone supposed to be repping our banner. Just stay the frick off of twitter and other social media.
