Let’s be honest, this was the only option he had other than actually taking responsibility and accepting a suspension that will cost him $10M+.

Not at all surprising. Now it’s a “he said” situation and he’s cast some reasonable doubt unless the NFL really does have mics that can confirm audio for the interaction and even then he’s not really out much more than he was before.

Setting that aside this guy is trash and if I were Mason Rudolph I would sue him for slander.

That’s straight from the article— if you’ve ever watched an “NFL films productions” replay of a big game, you can pretty much hear every word on the sidelines not to mention they can isolate certain players on the field and catch whatever they want. It sounds like they had hot mics all over the field and could have easily listened to the minute or 2 before the incident escalated. I am sure the league knew every word that was said a few hours after the incident last Thursday night.
