The Bama fan base has already experienced this. When Miles was rumored to Michigan the Bama fan base puckered knowing Saban would jump at the opportunity to return to LSU.

But, the rewards if you win at a place like BAMA are so much better than somewhere like Washington. Delusional fans are great if you are winning.

hell no, this is bullshite. We will take his arse hostage if he tries to leave. Fran slipped out at night, but we know how that shite works now. We have a double that does those press conferences and shite, that is not Saban. WE can't have him sending eye signals to the press that we have him captive. His is is here unti we decide otherwise. Tubbs then started talking about it. Then Saban actually had to deny it.

Tubby? No. But I read an article a few years ago about college teams having their G.A.s and volunteer assistants keeping tabs on the scuttlebutt on message boards, sports websites, etc. Looking for nuggets to use in the ever raging PR battle against rivals, for recruits, etc. I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if these types of threads, generating 20+ pages of nonsense, weren't discussed with great mirth in locker rooms and practice fields across America.
