Hurts was great running behind Bama's line, this Oklahoma line will not resemble the Bama line.
LMAO!!!!!!

He may be right about Bama's Oline being better. But the difference between Bama's Oline and SEC Dlines and the difference between OU's Oline and the Big 12 Dlines is where the laughter comes in.

Where the laughter comes in is Hurts will be surrounded by, and play with, NFL talent at every position just like he was used to at Bama. Period.

I’m not even sure OU gets past Texas. And the defense has been horrendous for years. Seems unlikely to have a 1 year turn around to championship caliber.

He won't have a nfl talented defense to get his back if he messes up either.

We'll see about that.

I think it is safe to say that Bama has more future nfl starters on their defense than OU does. That being said, I do think OU's defense will be improved this year. Lord know it can't get any worse at tackling.

Nobody said they didnt, and that could be said about probably 120 other teams.
What you see in that gif isn't a lack of talent. That's a lack of effort.

You can say that again....

There is something seriously wrong with your thinking. You have OU winning a playoff game.

This shot is really hard to read bub

Almost as ridiculous as thinking A&M will MAKE the playoffs anytime soon. 1939 was known for:
Germany invading Poland
Gone With the Wind winning best picture and
Last time A&M could say they were as good as anyone else.

I think OU is in for a few losses with Hurts as QB. Not as good of an O-Line like he had at Bama, and he's not accurate enough of a passer to keep defenses honest. OU is not the Big XII champ this year. BIG winner is in, so is Clemson. I think you have 2 SEC teams in this year. PAC 12 and Big XII are out.
You do realize OU puts the top offensive line in CFB on the field nearly every year right?

Mich or OSU B1G winner. Clemson beats B1G winner. OU beats SEC winner. OU murders Clemson in the championship final. They (OU) have the finest combo offense and defense coaches in college football. Lincoln Riley running that offense, even though they lost a lot on the O-line the league is weak and forgiving and gives them time to rebuild it. And Hurts running for his life is probably more dangerous (at least to the opponent) than Hurts the passer untouched in a perfect pocket. And they've got the finest young defensive coach around in Grinch. Who is Gary Pinkel's nephew and made Mike Leach look like the greatest coach of all time last year @ Washington freaking State. So there you have it. My dark horse is Auburn. Beats Oregon, A&M, LSU, UA and loses to UGA in Nov. Then beats them in Atlanta. They could win it all with a freshman just like Clemson last year. Nix will be a difference maker by mid-season, he makes plays when they are not there.
You're a fool to discount Alabama just because they lost Moses. Lee will pleasantly surprise. Moses is more athletic and experienced but Lee is stronger, a bigger hitter, tougher with a very high football IQ. By the end of the year, the drop off will not be nearly what many think.
