Not like ya'll have been dominant even without the 2 main antagonists. Florida won't be better this year.

It's called addition by subtraction. Learn it and live it, Cock.

SC beat Florida 40-17 last year with a FCS transfer as our QB yet Florida is supposed to be better than us with a 1st year head coach?

Mizzou beat both Florida and South Carolina.

Beat SC 3 years in a row yet….

People got us at 13 lololololol

Missouri lost to Army in their bowl game. They don't deserve any decent expectations lmao.

Decades of following Kentucky Football have conditioned me to prepare for disappointment. Hell, I'm waiting for last years wins to be disallowed. So sixth is way too high as I see it.

Set players. You lost to the team that lost to Army? How does that make it any better lol.

The age old excuse... We won our bowl game over UNC with a 3rd string quarterback who had 1 snap all year. And if you want to equate losing to Missouri to losing to Army then go for it

No one is scared of a starting QB who nearly threw 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions against the mighty power house Kent State

Everyone knows that we were a 10-2 team last year with a good QB. Zach was a warrior las year, and I have nothing but respect for him. But there is a reason he is running third strong at Auburn. Jimbo rolled the dice last year with only King and Zach in the system, and he got burnt when we lost King for the year. This year, the QB room is LIGHT years's better.

We think King is the answer. If he's not, Max threw for 27/10 as a starter last year. He's significantly better than Zach. Or, the 5 star true Freshmen might just try and become the guy early. All of our reports indicate that all three guys have looked good. We only need one of them to hit, and we'll be better than last year.

The team who finished 25th last year with a backup QB got a big influx of talent, returned significant pieces, and has a healthy starting QB.

Yeah, why would anyone expect this team to be decent?

Why would anyone ever expect them to be better than 8-4?

Narrowly, and almost entirely due to the defense (sans Alabama game) who lost its leader to Duke.

The Aggie hype will disappear after they lose to Miami

I had this same discussion with some Aggies on Saturday night. Imo, you guys needed a great QB to go 10-2. If the '21 version of Max Johnson (I only use him as I saw every game he played) starts for you last year, you are probably still 8-4. I know Calzada was awful at times, but he did win the Bama game and you squeaked be State.

You probably beat us with Max though as he would've been too damn tired to hit Jenkins on the winning TD after playing all-time QB that night.

This will be unpopular with LSU and A&M fans alike, but Johnson is an exceptionally different QB when he has a lot of time to throw. I know, this applies to all QB's, but he is shockingly better when he can stand in the pocket. If your O-line is as good as advertised, he should be the starter over King, hands down. And that is assuming he has not improved over '21.
